Job summary

Florida State University Panama City is seeking an Assistant Director for the TRIO Educational Talent Search (ETS) program. You will oversee student recruitment, advising, and data management, mentoring participants on college readiness and financial aid, and assist the ETS Director with program coordination and staff supervision.

This role requires regular travel to Bay County schools, collaboration with university partners, and timely federal reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and four years experience related to academic and/or student services or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years in the same.
A valid State of Florida or Georgia Driver's License or the ability to obtain prior to hire.

Responsibilities

Oversees recruitment, services, advising, and data management for pre-collegiate students and enhances access to postsecondary opportunities.
Mentors and advises participants regarding educational planning, career development, and federal financial aid.
Assists the TRIO ETS Director in coordinating program services and supervising Talent Search staff.
Develops partnerships across the University to support Talent Search goals and federal reporting.
Monitors participant progress and documents postsecondary enrollment outcomes for federal reporting.
