Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced ETRM Project Manager to lead end-to-end implementation of a modern Energy Trading and Risk Management platform. • 10+ years of Project Management experience delivering complex technology and transformation programs.
• Proven experience leading ETRM implementations, migrations, major upgrades, or enterprise trading platform transformations.
• Strong understanding of commodity trading processes and the end-to-end trade lifecycle across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office functions.
• Experience managing large-scale cross-functional programs involving integrations, data migration, testing, governance, and production deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of an Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM) platform implementation, ensuring project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business objectives are achieved.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Trading, Risk, Operations, Finance, IT, Architecture, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Own project governance, planning, resource coordination, budget management, executive reporting, and risk/issue resolution.
• Drive requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, and deployment activities throughout the energy trading lifecycle.
• Manage project dependencies and ensure alignment between business and technical teams.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, go-live activities, and hypercare support.
• Support organizational change management and business readiness activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technology.
• Provide regular updates and recommendations to executive stakeholders and project sponsors.

Your next challenge

We are seeking an experienced ETRM Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of a modern Energy Trading and Risk Management platform. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams across Trading, Risk, Operations, Finance, and Technology while overseeing project governance, planning, integrations, data migration, testing, and go-live activities. The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership experience within energy or commodities trading and a proven background delivering complex ETRM implementations.

Required Experience:

• 10+ years of Project Management experience delivering complex technology and transformation programs.
• Proven experience leading ETRM implementations, migrations, major upgrades, or enterprise trading platform transformations.
• Strong understanding of commodity trading processes and the end-to-end trade lifecycle across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office functions.
• Experience managing large-scale cross-functional programs involving integrations, data migration, testing, governance, and production deployments.
• Demonstrated success managing project budgets, schedules, resources, vendor relationships, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with Trading, Risk, Operations, Finance, and Technology teams in highly regulated or complex business environments.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience within Energy, Commodities Trading, Oil & Gas, Power, Natural Gas, LNG, or related industries.
• Experience with multiple full lifecycle ETRM implementations.
• Knowledge of market risk, physical trading operations, settlements, and regulatory reporting processes.
• Experience working with cloud-based ETRM solutions and enterprise system integrations.
• Industry certifications related to ETRM platforms.

• PMP certification preferred.
• Agile, Scrum, or related project management certifications are a plus.
• ETRM platform certifications are highly desirable.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is up to $175,000. This range reflects the maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
