Job summary
Capco in Houston seeks an ETRM Business Analyst specializing in power trading. You will translate complex business requirements into technology solutions, supporting system implementations, process improvements, and transformation initiatives within energy trading environments.
You will facilitate client workshops, develop BRDs and functional specs, map current and future processes, and support testing, training, and go-live activities.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Business Analyst within ETRM and power trading environments.
- Experience with OpenLink implementation, configuration, and extension.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, or Technology.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate client workshops, stakeholder interviews, and structured analysis to gather requirements.
- Develop business requirements, functional specifications, and process documentation.
- Analyze current and future state processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Support testing, training, and go-live activities to ensure successful implementation.
- Produce high-quality consulting deliverables including reports, presentations, and proposals.
