Job summary

Schlumberger is seeking an Engineering Project Lead to act as the technical representative for assigned projects, interfacing with clients, vendors, and third parties. The role requires leading engineering teams, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and delivering high-quality technical solutions.

You will oversee multidisciplinary teams across locations, manage schedules and recovery plans, and ensure strict adherence to the EDCN process.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all engineering deliverables and ensure alignment with client requirements.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across locations, coordinating internal and external resources.
• Manage schedules, forecasts, and recovery plans to meet project timelines.
• Ensure adherence to the EDCN process across the project lifecycle.
• Analyze client requirements during the Budgetary Quotation and proposal phases to support cost estimates.
• Attend bid clarification meetings and provide technical expertise.
• Develop Technical Requisitions and Technical Bid Evaluations based on vendor offers.
• Review and compile engineering hour estimations to ensure accurate costing.
• Ensure projects are executed as-sold, compliant with SLB standards and client specs.
• Lead execution strategies and establish baseline schedules, communicating clearly to all stakeholders.
• Attend kickoff meetings and design reviews to prevent scope creep.
• Monitor scope and initiate Variation Order Requests when required.
• Validate and approve engineering documents for quality and consistency.
• Manage subcontracted technical work and safety studies.
• Conduct regular engineering progress reviews and update forecasts.

• Ensure projects are executed as-sold , complying with SLB standards and client specifications.

• Lead engineering teams, managing workflow and coordinating activities across multiple disciplines.

• Develop and communicate engineering execution strategies and baseline schedules .

• Attend kickoff meetings and design reviews , preventing scope creep.

• Monitor project compliance with the agreed scope and initiate Variation Order Requests (VORs) if required.

• Validate and approve engineering documents, ensuring quality control and consistency.

• Manage subcontracted technical work and specialized safety studies.

• Conduct weekly/monthly engineering progress reviews , updating forecasts and recovery plans as needed.

• Ensure full compliance with the EDCN process through regular monitoring.

• Provide technical approvals for Commercial Variation Orders (VORs) or Management of Change (MOC) requests .
