Job summary

Cloud Hybrid Technologies LLC is seeking a QA leadership role to define and continuously improve testing strategy across multiple teams in the Charlotte area. The role focuses on creating test and automation frameworks, managing data and defects, and ensuring quality throughout the SDLC from UI to backend systems.

The ideal candidate will drive test planning for complex features, align test cases with stakeholders, and oversee test execution to keep the plan on track.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and improves testing strategy and processes for one or more QA teams, including cross-functional coordination.
• Defines and manages test processes such as test data generation, defect management, and reporting.
• Creates and optimizes test processes including defect management and reporting.
• Contributes to building quality into the SDLC using best practices and tools across the application stack (UI, API, Backend).
• Develops and implements test automation strategy and frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing.
• Leads test planning for complex features spanning platforms or multiple teams.
• Ensures alignment and sign-off of test cases from business and other stakeholders; optimizes test suites with risk-based testing.
• Manages test execution and assists with resolving issues impacting the test plan.
• Contributes to test data management approaches, processes and tools; generates data and ensures data compliance.
• Reports issues and defects with background information; triages and escalates as needed.
• Creates and manages traceability and traces tests through the development lifecycle to requirements.
