Job summary

ITBMS Inc. is seeking an ETL Tester in Jersey City/Charlotte, NJ for a full-time role. You will analyze data mappings to craft robust test plans, perform data reconciliation, and validate ETL transformations using SQL.

You will log defects, automate tests, and ensure performance and scalability within a data warehouse context. The role requires strong SQL skills, experience with Informatica/IDMC, and familiarity with big data concepts (Hadoop/Spark).

Qualifications

• Analyze data mapping documents and business requirements to design test plans and cases.
• Perform source-to-target data reconciliation, load checks, and transformation validation.
• Write complex SQL scripts for data validation (count, completeness, consistency).
• Identify and track data defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or Octane.
• Automate test scripts and validate data volume, performance, and scalability.
• Expert-level SQL knowledge for data analysis.
• Experience with Informatica and IDMC tools.
• Understand data warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schemas).
• Familiarity with Hadoop or Spark is preferred.

• Validate HiveQL, HDFS file structures, and data processing within the Hadoop cluster.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication for collaborating with developers and stakeholders.
• Knowledge in Metadata dependent ETL process and batch/job framework
