## ETL SSIS developerJacksonville, Florida · Full-time · Senior#### About The Position**ETL SSIS Developer**We are seeking an experienced **ETL / SSIS Developer** to design, develop, optimize, and maintain enterprise data integration solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will have strong T-SQL development and performance-tuning skills, a solid understanding of data quality and security, and experience applying modern data architecture, DevOps, and database deployment practices.**Key Responsibilities*** Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Microsoft SSIS.* Develop and maintain high-quality T-SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, views, and complex queries.* Optimize SQL query performance through execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, and query tuning.* Implement robust error handling, logging, transaction management, and data validation to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.* Apply secure SQL development practices, including parameterized dynamic SQL, least-privilege access, and role-based security controls.* Apply **Medallion Architecture** principles across Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers to support organized, reliable, and high-quality data processing.* Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and data engineering teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.* Follow Git-based development practices, including version control, peer code reviews, automated testing, and database CI/CD processes.* Leverage AI-powered coding assistants to improve development productivity, testing, documentation, and code optimization, while ensuring all outputs are reviewed and validated.* Support production data operations by monitoring SLAs/SLOs, troubleshooting ETL and database issues, resolving incidents, and conducting root-cause analysis.* Identify opportunities to improve ETL performance, data quality, maintainability, and operational efficiency.**Required Qualifications*** Strong hands-on experience with **Microsoft SSIS and SQL Server**.* Proficiency in T-SQL development, including stored procedures, functions, views, and complex queries.* Demonstrated experience in SQL performance tuning, execution plan analysis, and indexing.* Experience developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-scale ETL pipelines.* Understanding of data modeling, data validation, data integrity, and database security best practices.* Familiarity with version control, code review processes, automated testing, and database deployment practices.* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.* Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders.**Preferred Qualifications*** Experience with Talend Data Integration.* Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.* Experience implementing automated testing and database CI/CD pipelines.* Knowledge of Medallion Architecture and modern data engineering practices.* Experience in banking, financial services, or other data-intensive enterprise environments.**WHY JOIN US******Matrix is a global, dynamic, and fast‐growing technology services and consulting company with **over 17,000 employees worldwide**.
