Job summary

MACHINE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking an ETL Site Reliability Engineer in Charlotte, NC for a 24-month plus extension engagement. The role emphasizes observability, data pipelines, and hybrid SaaS/on-prem monitoring, with exposure to vendor-driven changes and cloud platforms.

Ideal candidates have strong scripting (Python, Bash), automation (Ansible), and experience with Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry. OpenShift/Kubernetes experience and SQL databases are a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on observability engineering with metrics/logs/traces.
• Experience with ETL, data movement monitoring and data lineage.
• Strong SRE practices: incident response, RCA, automation.
• Experience with hybrid/SaaS/on-prem integrations and vendor changes.
• Cloud/Kubernetes/OpenShift environments and CI/CD familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor data flows across SaaS, hybrid and on-prem environments.
• Develop and maintain observability coverage across services and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to enable reliable integrations.
• Automate incident response, RCA processes and change management.
