Job summary

Univera Healthcare is seeking a Software Engineer to work on projects aligned with our ongoing visualization and development efforts. You will participate in the SDLC, direct system validation and testing, and coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams to communicate project statuses.

The role emphasizes ETL and Informatica work, with multiple levels of accountability and opportunities for professional growth within a health plan environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in computer science, information technology or related field. In lieu of a degree, three years of experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (C#, Java, SQL, C++, Python, Visual Basic or JavaScript).
• Basic understanding of Informatica, CI/CD, Pega, Power BI, Cognos.

Responsibilities

• Develops code, analyzes, researches, and resolves associated system issues.
• Participates in on-call production support rotation.
• Supports, maintains, creates and follows IT processes and standards.
• Communicates project statuses with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Creates work plans, specifications and programs following development standards.
• Maintains source control and follows SDLC practices.
• Demonstrates problem-solving and security best practices.
