Job summary

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced ETL Developer with strong expertise in data integration, data warehousing, SQL, and Tableau reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes, building data pipelines, and creating interactive Tableau dashboards to support business intelligence and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Work with data warehouses, data marts, and relational databases to support reporting and analytics.
• Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau.
• Connect Tableau dashboards to different data sources and optimize dashboard performance.
• Perform data profiling, data cleansing, data validation, and reconciliation to ensure data quality.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot ETL failures, data inconsistencies, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, BI developers, and other technical teams.
• Implement incremental data loads, scheduling, error handling, and recovery mechanisms.
• Maintain technical documentation for ETL workflows, data mappings, and Tableau reports.
• Support production deployments, data refreshes, and ongoing maintenance.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in ETL development and data integration.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica IICS, Talend, SSIS, or equivalent.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
• Expertise in developing Tableau dashboards, worksheets, calculated fields, parameters, filters, and interactive reports.
• Experience with Tableau data sources, extracts, live connections, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including fact tables, dimension tables, star schemas, and snowflake schemas.
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.
• Knowledge of data quality, data governance, and data validation processes.
• Experience with scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting ETL jobs.
