Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC in Alaska is seeking an experienced ETL Developer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines, ETL workflows, and Tableau dashboards to support BI and analytics.

You will optimize SQL queries, integrate multiple data sources, ensure data quality, and collaborate with BI, data architecture, and analytics teams on requirements and performance. Experience with Informatica, Talend, SSIS and Tableau is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in ETL development and data integration.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica IICS, Talend, SSIS, or equivalent.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
• Expertise in developing Tableau dashboards, worksheets, calculated fields, parameters, filters, and interactive reports.
• Experience with Tableau data sources, extracts, live connections, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including fact tables, dimension tables, star schemas, and snowflake schemas.
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.
• Knowledge of data quality, data governance, and data validation processes.
• Experience with scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting ETL jobs.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot ETL failures, data inconsistencies, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, BI developers, and other technical teams.
• Implement incremental data loads, scheduling, error handling, and recovery mechanisms.
• Maintain technical documentation for ETL workflows, data mappings, and Tableau reports.
• Support production deployments, data refreshes, and ongoing maintenance.
