Job summary

MACHINE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking an ETL Developer to design and implement ETL processes using Informatica DEI/BDM in Atlanta. The role requires collaboration with designers and architects to translate designs into robust ETL solutions, plus unit testing and defect triage throughout SIT/UAT phases.

You will help create deployment plans and support production environments. Strong Hive, Unix, and SQL skills are essential, along with GitLab and CI/CD knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience with ETL development using Informatica DEI/BDM.
• Strong Hive, Unix and SQL knowledge.
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD.
• Good communication and onshore/offshore work experience.
• Exposure to Talend, Snowflake or Ab Initio is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand design with designers/architects and plan ETL development using Informatica DEI/BDM.
• Develop ETL codebase and perform unit testing with results.
• Provide testing support for SIT/UAT and defect triage.
• Create production deployment plan and obtain change approvals.
• Support production deployment and coordinate with support/infrastructure teams.
• Investigate and fix production ETL issues and perform performance tuning.

Job Description

• Resource should have the following technical skill set.
• Understand the design, work with designer and architect, and based on that plan the ETL development using Informatica DEI/BDM toolset.
• Assist in completing the design deliverables.
• Perform ETL development using Informatica DEI/BDM and create the code base, complete the unit testing and capture unit test results.
• At times should be able to perform independent testing.
• Provide the testing support for defect triage and resolution across the SIT, UAT phases.
• Create the production deployment plan, scheduling sheets and get change approval from required stake holders.
• Support production deployment and co -ordinate with production support and infrastructure teams.
• Provide warranty support and investigate production ETL issues and fix them.
• Implement performance tuning using Informatica DEI/BDM toolset.
• Should have strong knowledge on Hive
• Should have strong Unix and SQL knowledge
• Should have gitlab , CICD knowledge
• Should have good communication skill
• Should be able to work in onshore offshore model
• It will be an additional advantage if candidate has exposure to Talend + Snowflake or Ab Initio
