Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer/Administrator to provide comprehensive data integration services using Informatica PowerCenter. The ETL Developer/Administrator will be responsible for extracting data from diverse sources, transforming it per defined business rules, and loading it into an Oracle database. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data transformation, process automation, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter to support data integration from various source databases and file formats.
  • Implement complex transformation logic based on business rules and load transformed data into Oracle target schemas.
  • Automate ETL workflows and procedures to the fullest extent possible for operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure weekly data refreshes, with all processing completed and available by Monday 8:00 AM ET, including data extraction, staging, transformation, and final reporting.
  • Conduct full software development lifecycle tasks, including research, analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support of ETL solutions.
  • Maintain and annually update technical documentation, particularly the Application Design Description, stored on the project SharePoint site.
  • Collaborate with business users, system analysts, and other team members to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet system and functional needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processing, data quality, and performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Oracle databases in an ETL development/administration role.
  • Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
  • Experience in designing and implementing automated ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and reporting schema design.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering high-quality results.

Certifications:

  • Possess or be willing to obtain IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, CySA+, or GSEC) within 60 days of hire, in accordance with DoD 8570 requirements.
