Job summary

Lincoln Financial is hiring an ETL Developer on the RetailIQ team to design, build, and maintain data pipelines in a cloud environment using Python and AWS Glue, integrating Oracle and PostgreSQL data. This role combines development, testing, and post-production support in an Agile setting.

You will work with APIs for data ingestion, participate in SDLC practices, and help deliver reliable, scalable data solutions while expanding your AWS data services expertise.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in ETL/data engineering roles.
• Experience with data warehouses, data marts, or operational data stores.
• Hands-on Python or a similar OO language (Java, .NET).
• SQL and relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL knowledge.
• Experience with REST/JSON APIs for data integration.

Responsibilities

• Participate in analysis, design, and ETL development as part of an Agile/Scrum team.
• Assist in data mapping and modeling (normalized/star/snowflake) to support quality.
• Perform SDLC-driven analysis, requirements, development, testing, and support.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using AWS services (Glue, S3, Redshift).
• Integrate data from external/internal systems via RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver data solutions and enhancements.
• Stay informed on tools, technologies, and best practices in data engineering.
• Support process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
