Job summary

Conduent, Inc. is seeking an ETL/BI Application Engineer to install and maintain Cognos and Informatica across client environments. The role emphasizes collaboration with developers, performance optimization, and applying updates and vulnerability fixes.

You will work with Cognos servers and ETL tools, respond to tickets, and participate in scheduling and documentation. A strong communication skillset and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Cognos v11/v12 and Informatica Power Center v10.x, IDMC and CDI-PC on Linux.
• Configure authentication (LDAP, Active Directory, SSO).
• Manage Cognos servers, gateways, dispatchers, and content store databases
• Deploy and migrate Cognos reports and Informatica code across environments.
• Troubleshoot report failures and server issues.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with development teams.
• Performance tuning and optimization of ETL jobs.
• Manage backups, recovery, and migration between environments (DEV, QA, PROD).
• Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
• Create/edit published system documentation.
• Perform duties as assigned and adopt additional technologies as needed.

ETL/BI Application Engineer - Informatica/Cognos

About the Role:

This is not a development role, though you may collaborate with developers. As an ETL/BI Application engineer, you will install and maintain Cognos and Informatica across the life cycle of operating environments for multiple clients. Other duties include optimizing performance, installing updates as well as vulnerability fixes. This position requires excellent communication skills, self-motivation, discipline and a solid work ethic.

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time out (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $79,695 - $103,500.
