Cognizant is hiring an ETL Ab Initio lead with GCP experience in a hybrid Dallas, TX environment. The role requires 5+ years in ETL design, Ab Initio, SQL, and Unix/Linux, with exposure to GCP, BigQuery, and Python.

You will design and support enterprise data warehouses and data marts, leading data integration and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and leadership skills and experience with healthcare data, delivering scalable, reliable data solutions for

Job Summary

Job Description:

• 5+ years of experience in ETL solution design, data warehousing, software development, and application production support.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Ab Initio, including GDE, EME (Enterprise Metadata Environment), graphs, plans, and enterprise ETL development.
• 5+ years of advanced SQL development experience in an enterprise environment.
• 5+ years of experience with Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting.
• 3+ years of experience with programming languages, development tools, databases, and the systems development lifecycle.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Big Query, and Python.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise data warehouse/data mart solutions and large-scale batch data processing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and technical leadership skills.
• Experience working with healthcare insurance data and applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience migrating Ab Initio or other on‑premises ETL workloads to GCP‑native services.
• Knowledge of data quality, metadata management, data lineage, performance optimization, and reusable ETL frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub‑based development practices, observability, and production operational support.
• Familiarity with healthcare payer data domains such as membership, claims, pharmacy, provider, and care management.

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
