Job summary

Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. is seeking an Ethics & Compliance Investigation Specialist to conduct thorough investigations into compliance and ethics concerns, document findings, and develop corrective actions. The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership reporting.

You will support training, policy guidance, and ensure confidentiality and neutrality throughout investigations, contributing to a stronger compliance culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of experience in compliance, investigations, ethics, HR investigations, audit, risk management, or related field.
• Familiarity with internal compliance investigation programs and best practices.
• Experience conducting interviews, reviewing evidence, documenting facts, and preparing written summaries.
• Ability to apply policies, procedures, and regulations to fact patterns.
• Experience with structured problem-solving or root cause analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct full cycle investigations of assigned reports, including intake, evidence gathering, interviews, and case closure.
• Develop practical corrective actions, preventative measures, and countermeasures.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify systemic issues and contributing factors.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, plant leadership, Finance, and other stakeholders to determine appropriate actions.
• Prepare concise investigation summaries, trend information, and reports for leadership.
