Job summary

Nissan is seeking an Ethics & Compliance Intern for a 12-week program in Franklin, TN. You will work with the Global Compliance Office to learn about ethics, privacy, and regulatory risk management while supporting training, policy management, and third-party reviews.

You will gain exposure to data privacy, investigations, governance, and stakeholder collaboration across Nissan’s global organization, developing practical skills in compliance and corporate governance in a real-world setting.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Business, Business Administration, Risk Management, Ethics & Compliance, Legal Studies, Human Resources, or related field.
• Students entering their Junior or Senior year at the start of the upcoming academic term.
• GPA of 3.0 or above; official/unofficial transcript may be requested during application.

Responsibilities

• Support Ethics, Compliance, and Data Privacy programs with hands-on tasks.
• Assist with third-party due diligence reviews and compliance screening.
• Support privacy initiatives including data inventories and data subject requests.
• Help administer employee disclosure processes, including Conflict of Interest and Gifts & Hospitality reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Nissan’s global organization on research, communications, reporting and projects.
