Job summary

GSA's Office of the General Counsel seeks a General Attorney to serve as an Ethics attorney in the Ethics Law Division. You will advise on Standards of Ethical Conduct and conflict-of-interest statutes, and assist with disclosures and investigations.

You will coordinate ethics training and provide guidance to program clients, working in a role with multiple vacancies at this time. This open-continuous announcement may close early.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Bar membership in good standing required.
• At least two years of professional legal experience after bar admission.

Responsibilities

• Provide ethics-related advice and opinions on Standards of Ethical Conduct and criminal conflict of interest statutes.
• Assist with confidential and public financial disclosure processes and communicate with filers.
• Support investigations of ethics-related violations with supervisory attorneys and the Office of Inspector General.
• Serve as primary contact for ethics questions from program clients.
• Coordinate ethics training programs with agency officials.
