As the Regional Compliance Officer Supervisor, you will ensure DMVA's Bureau of Veterans Homes leadership team, management, and employees comply with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, agency policies and procedures, and standards of conduct. Your duties will include managing the Regional Compliance Officers and directing compliance and privacy issues to appropriate resources for investigation and resolution.. You will also manage the HIPAA, privacy, and healthcare regulations portion of the Bureau of Veterans Homes compliance program. You can expect to complete compliance, and ethics investigations. Using the findings from investigations, you will develop and implement appropriate resolutions, write policy recommendations, create and implement training, and audit program office activities. Additionally, you will maintain knowledge and awareness of current legislation and enforcement issues affecting the healthcare industry, as well as compliance best practices.
