Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services seeks an Ethernet Tech Lead to define system and software level communication architectures using SOME/IP and related protocols. You will optimize networks for ECUs in real-time environments and lead cross-functional teams in a highly distributed embedded context.

The role requires deep expertise in C/C++, multicore embedded systems, and hands-on debugging of ethernet stacks across hardware and software layers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of embedded software experience, focusing on SoC platforms or communication frameworks.
Experience designing networks for distributed embedded systems.
Experience in system design and software architecture.
Proficient in analyzing ethernet data trace logs.
Strong background in SOME/IP, CAN-over-ethernet, DDS, MQTT and related protocols.

Responsibilities

Lead and support the design, analysis, development and integration of SOME/IP and other Ethernet-based protocols.
Collaborate with OS, hypervisor, and middleware teams to enable robust inter-domain communication.
Optimize communication architecture for latency, throughput, and determinism in real-time and virtualized environments.
Debug and troubleshoot ethernet communication issues across hardware and software layers using debugging tools.
Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer through trainings and webinars.
