Job summary

Road & Rail Services is hiring an Ethanol Transload Operator to support our Tampa Port operation. The role involves safe transfer of ethanol between railcars and tanker trucks, following safety and environmental procedures.

This is an outdoor, physically active industrial position with a 100% on-call schedule and a guaranteed minimum of 35 paid hours per pay period. Candidates must be comfortable around rail equipment, trucks, and hazardous materials, and be willing to wear PPE as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk up to 10 miles during a shift.
• Lift up to 60 pounds.
• Climb to heights of approximately 20 feet.
• Work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Willingness to wear all required PPE, including respirators and hazmat gear.

Responsibilities

• Connect, monitor, and disconnect equipment used to transfer ethanol between railcars and tanker trucks.
• Climb approximately 20 feet to access, inspect, secure, and seal tank cars and trucks.
• Prepare ethanol for transfer using heating, sparging, and sampling processes.
• Complete required inspections before, during, and after product transfers.
• Maintain accurate logs and transfer records.
