Job summary

The Alcohol Department Manager at Jobot leads daily operations in our alcohol recovery, distillation, and ethanol production facility in Rancho Cucamonga. This hands-on leader oversees ~12 staff, drives safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement while working closely with maintenance and engineering teams on process improvements.

We seek an engineering-minded operations leader with 5+ years in ethanol or industrial alcohol, plus a B.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Process/Industrial Engineering required.
5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing/process environment.
Experience in ethanol production or industrial alcohol operations.
Strong understanding of distillation, fermentation, evaporation, separation, or related processes.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day leadership of alcohol recovery, distillation, fermentation, and ethanol production operations.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of operators and technicians with a focus on safety and production goals.
Monitor and optimize key process parameters to improve yields and performance.
Partner with maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage regulatory compliance.
