Job summary

Fionics in New York is seeking a researcher or trader to lead the development of high-frequency ETF strategies and drive the firm's expansion into ETFs and related products.

You will collaborate closely with PMs and engineers, taking real ownership of your builds and delivering live trading improvements in a fast-paced, well-funded environment. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a growing business line within a small, high-performance team.

Qualifications

• Several years' experience trading or researching ETFs at an HFT, prop or market-making firm.
• A track record of strategies that have made money in live trading.
• Strong coding skills, in Python and/or C++.
• Ideally a non-compete of under 12 months.
• Based in New York or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Research, build and run high-frequency ETF strategies.
• Help shape the firm's move into ETFs and related products.
• Work closely with the PMs and engineers, with real ownership over what you build.
