TMX Group is seeking an ETF Data Specialist to own the ETF data for its B2C platforms, reporting into the Head of Digital Product. You will audit and refine LLM outputs, architect the ETF ontology, and partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure timely, high-quality market data reaches investors.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, cross-functional collaboration, and ongoing KPI-driven improvements across TMX web properties and vendor ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in the asset management or financial technology industry with focus on product management, data product ownership, or data operations.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on LLM prompting/evaluation techniques.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field as listed.

Responsibilities

• Audit, fine-tune, and optimize LLM-generated classifications, descriptions, and data extractions.
• Architect and maintain the ETF ontology for unified asset class taxonomy.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of market data across TMX web properties.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to deliver market data to investors at the right moment.
• Manage vendor relationships with key market data providers for seamless integration.
• Define and monitor data KPIs to improve system performance and platform precision.
