The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our wafer fabrication processes, identifying complex problems, and implementing solutions to drive yield enhancement.**Role and Responsibilities**Here's what you'll be responsible for:* Monitor and respond to in-line issues in the wafer fabrication etch process, ensuring timely disposition of wafers.* Qualify wafer fabrication etch processes on advanced tools.* Coordinate process qualifications and equipment downtime with manufacturing and equipment teams.* Analyze data using software tools to identify trends and inform processing decisions.* Adjust process parameters as needed and monitor equipment performance after maintenance.* Executes change point management on Etch processes / equipment* Continuously update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)**Skills and Qualifications**Here's what you'll need:* Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering field.* 1+ year of experience in a related field.* Experience with 300mm Dry Etch processes.* Familiarity with equipment platforms such as Lam, AMAT, TEL, Mattson, Hitachi, and/or PSK.* Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods and their implementation.* Familiarity with Advanced Process Control (APC) techniques and its usage* Knowledge of basic chemistry, scientific methods, and experimental design principles* Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with the team and other departments* Basic understanding of wafer fabrication processes.* Familiarity with advanced statistical methods* Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and technical documents.### All positions at Samsung Austin Semiconductor require you to be onsite. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience.
