Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. in Palm Bay, FL is seeking an experienced Etch Maintenance Technician to support continuous manufacturing at a high-performance semiconductor facility.

The role requires strong mechanical and electronic skills, hands-on maintenance of Etch tool sets, and a focus on safety and quality with flexible day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• AS/AA in electrical or mechanical or 5+ years relevant work experience.
• 5+ years supporting AMAT Centura 5200 MxP, AMAT 8330/8110, AMAT P5000 MxP, Gasonics Aura 1000, Gasonics Iridia, STS HRM Bosch Trench Etcher.
• Minimum 5 years in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with at least 10 years in the Equipment Maintenance Field.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills with proven problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of SPC and its application in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of Etch area tool sets.
• Troubleshoot and repair process equipment as needed.
• Support implementation and interpretation of SPC data for process improvement.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in a high-volume production environment.

Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced technician to fill the role of Etch Maintenance Technician supporting its manufacturing facility in sunny Palm Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and communication skills. This position offers development opportunities working for a leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog semiconductors.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

• AS or AA in electrical, mechanical, military training, or 5+ years relevant work experience.

Experience Requirements / Skills:

• 5+ years supporting AMAT Centura 5200 MxP, AMAT 8330/8110, AMAT P5000 MxP, Gasonics Aura 1000, Gasonics Iridia, STS HRM Bosch Trench Etcher.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Equipment Maintenance Field.
• Strong mechanical skills
• Strong electronic skills
• Demonstrated problem solving ability
• Must have knowledge of SPC and know how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 40lbs.

This position involves the preventative and corrective maintenance of the tool sets found in the Etch area. Additional tool sets include Axcelis Fusion, Semitool SST, Semitool SRD, and manual wet benches.

Hours are on a compressed work week, 3 days on 7am to 7pm one week, and 4 days the next week. Both day and night shifts available.
