Elementary

Location: Richboro Elementary School

Hours: 8:30 - 3:00, 1/2 day: 8:30 - 12:00

Elementary Position Options:

• Autistic Support - 3 days (T, W, TH)
• Autistic Support - 4 days (M - TH)
• Emotional Support Elementary - 3 half days (T, W, TH AM)
• Intensive Learning Support - 4 days (M - TH)
• Learning Support - 3 half days (T, W, TH AM)
• Life Skills Elementary - 4 days (M - TH)
• Multiple Disabilities - 4 days (M - TH)

Secondary

Location: Council Rock High School North or STAR Center (based on program)

Hours: 7:30am - 2:00pm, 1/2 day: 7:30am - 11:00am

Secondary Position Options:

• ACHIEVE Secondary - 4 days (M - TH)
• Autistic Support - 3 days (T, W, TH)
• Autistic Support - 4 days (M - TH)
• Emotional Support Secondary - 2 half days (T, TH AM)
• Intensive Learning Support Secondary - 4 days (M - TH)
• Learning Support - 3 half days (T, W, TH AM)
• Life Skills - 4 days (M - TH)
• Multiple Disabilities - 4 days (M - TH)

Requirements for Teachers:

You must hold a PA Certificate in Special Education.

Requirements for Teacher Assistants:

• Previous experience in an elementary school setting preferred.
• Ability to collect data, work with a team of educators, and carry out academic support plans.
• Must meet Pennsylvania Department of Education Special Education Regulations Chapter 14: Regulations Chapter 14.
• Qualifications include:
• Completion of at least two years of post-secondary study,
• Possession of an associate's degree or higher, or
• Meeting a rigorous standard of quality through a state or local assessment. Additional info: Bureau of Special Education Credential of Competency for Special Education Instructional Paraeducators in Pennsylvania.

Required Paperwork:

All employees must complete mandatory paperwork, including background clearances valid within the last year:

Additional documentation may include arrest/conviction reports, PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure (Act 168), physician’s health form, and recent TB test.
