Job summary

SERVPRO of Evergreen Park/South Chicago City in Chicago, IL is seeking an Estimator & Claims Resolution Coordinator to monitor leads from intake through invoicing. You will work with Production to track work in progress, prepare estimates from photos, and coordinate with adjusters to resolve disputes and finalize charges.

Strong communication with customers and internal teams, plus attention to detail, will help ensure satisfaction and compliance with program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor job file status to ensure accuracy in all documentation daily.
• Communicate daily with Production crews to ensure all required documentation is captured on site at point of task.
• Create and review estimates based on scope and photos from the Production crew.
• Maintain an accurate Work in Progress board for all your active leads/projects.
• Monitor and ensure all client requirements are followed.
• Review timestamps and other datapoints to reflect accurate reporting/KPMs.
• Complete and review job file documentation for final upload and the audit process
• Perform internal audit of all projects to ensure estimate captures all work performed.
• Perform all job close-out activities, including coordination with the accounting team to ensure proper invoicing.
• Communicate with adjusters, reviewers, and customers regarding estimate, scope, and invoicing questions.
• Review and respond to estimate disputes, requested revisions, and comparative estimates.
• Gather and provide supporting documentation to justify the scope of work and associated charges.
• Track outstanding estimate approvals, supplements, and disputed items through final resolution.
• Follow up with customers during the final stages of the job to address concerns and help ensure customer satisfaction.
• Escalate unresolved claim or customer concerns to management when necessary.
• Assist other departments, as needed.

Summary

The Estimator & Claims Resolution Coordinator monitors incoming leads from conversion through job completion and invoicing. This position works closely with Production to track work in progress, review documentation, prepare accurate estimates, and ensure all work is properly invoiced and meets program requirements.

The role also communicates with adjusters to resolve estimate and scope disputes, provides supporting documentation, and follows up with customers to address final concerns and ensure satisfaction.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

This is a largely sedentary role in an office environment.

Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements

This is a full-time position, working hours varying between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. This position may require longer hours and some flexibility in hours may be needed depending upon business needs
