Job summary

Core & Main is seeking an estimator to support the bidding and estimating process for water, wastewater, and fire protection projects. You will collaborate with engineers, contractors, and vendors to understand project specifications and provide timely insights to keep bids on track.

Preferred candidates have bid preparation experience, familiarity with PlanSwift or similar tools, and a solid understanding of waterworks systems.

Qualifications

• Bid preparation or related experience.
• Familiarity with estimation software, like PlanSwift.
• An understanding of waterworks systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in bid preparation and project estimation.
• Provide timely insight and consultation to engineers, contractors and vendors during the estimating process.
• Support the bidding team with design plan interpretation and quantity takeoffs.
