Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a detail-oriented estimator with strong bid support and contractor relations skills. You will work with customers and internal teams to understand specs, ensure accuracy, and maintain project timelines.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking, alternative solutions, and close collaboration with contractors to drive successful infrastructure projects. You will partner with customers to provide timely guidance, helping to set project pace and ensure successful outcomes across

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required with 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience in industrial distribution or construction supplies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with contractors and communicate effectively with customers and teammates throughout a project.
• Support bid processes by understanding specs and product requirements, ensuring accuracy, and meeting timelines.
• Think strategically and identify alternative solutions when needed.
• Be detail-oriented and assess time constraints based on materials for projects.
• Partner with customers to provide timely insight and consultation and help set project pace.

Qualifications
