PCL Construction Services, Inc. in Tampa seeks an Estimator for Tampa Buildings to lead takeoffs, pricing and bid preparation for small to large projects. You will coordinate with subs, compile quantities, and support the bid process through award.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction methods, materials and specifications.
• Ability to take off quantities from plan/documents.
• Experience with bid preparation and pricing.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to work with subcontractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Takes ownership of estimates and reviews bid documents.
• Performs quantity takeoffs of labor, equipment, and materials.
• Supports lead estimator with forms, RFIs and proposal needs.
• Applies unit prices and labor productivity to estimates.
• Organizes bid information for transfer to project team.
• Maintains relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Solicits competitive pricing from subtrades for pursuits.
