Job summary

Aleron in Saugerties, NY is seeking an Estimator for a permanent/direct-hire role in semiconductor manufacturing. You will develop cost estimates for production and translate technical requirements into detailed cost models and quotes.

You will work with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to ensure accurate, competitive estimates and successful proposals. 2–3+ years of estimator experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of estimator experience required.
• Experience estimating within semiconductor equipment or highly engineered environments preferred.
• Ability to develop complex cost estimates and quotations.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for production.
• Translate technical requirements into detailed cost models and quotes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
• Evaluate drawings, BOMs, P&IDs, and customer specifications to build estimates.
• Identify cost risks and missing scope before quote submission.
