Job summary

AssuncaoBrothers,Inc. seeks an experienced Estimator/Project Manager with a strong background in structural concrete construction to join our growing team. You will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive bids and managing awarded projects through completion.

The role requires leadership across estimating and project management, detailed cost estimation, and effective communication with clients and engineers to ensure timely project delivery and profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of estimating/project management experience in structural concrete construction.
• Proficiency in estimating and project management tools and software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full cycle of estimating and project management from bid through closeout.
• Develop detailed cost estimates with accurate takeoffs and pricing.
• Interpret bid documents, drawings, specs, scopes of work, and schedules.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, engineers, and internal teams.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes for alignment with scope.
• Prepare and lead internal project handoffs to field operations.
• Track daily production, adjust to control costs, and maintain profitability.
• Accurately estimate cost to complete and assist accounting with reporting.
• Foster a safety-first culture across the team.

Responsibilities:

• Leadthefullcycleofestimatingandprojectmanagement,frombidpreparationthroughprojectcloseout.
• Developdetailedcostestimates,ensuringaccuratequantitytake-offsandapplicationofunitpricing.
• Interpretbiddocumentsincludingdrawings,specifications,scopesofwork,andschedules.
• Coordinateandcommunicatewithclients,engineers,andinternalteamsthroughoutthebidandprojectlifecycle.
• Solicitandanalyzesubcontractorandvendorquotestoensurealignmentwithprojectscopeandbiddocuments.
• Prepareandleadinternalprojecthandofftofieldoperations.
• Ensureanoverallprojectscheduleispreparedatthebeginningofeachjob.Documentanyscopechangesanddelays,takingimmediateactiontoresolveproblemsandminimizedelays.
• Trackdailyproductiononallprojectsandmakethenecessaryadjustmentstocontrolcostsandmaintainprofitability.
• Accuratelyestimatethecosttocompletethroughoutthelifeofthejob.Collaboratewithaccountingtomaintainfinancialreportingandensuremonthlyrequisitionsaresubmittedontimeforpromptpaymentfromclient.
• Responsibleforfosteringandmaintainingasafety-firstculturewithinallteammembers.

• Proficiencyinestimatingandprojectmanagementtoolsandsoftware.
