Job summary

Ultimate Staffing partners with a growing commercial roofing company in the Denver Metro area to hire a Project Estimator / Project Manager. You will lead estimating, bidding, and management from pre-construction through completion while building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

The role emphasizes managing multiple roofing projects, staying on budget, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction/related field.
• 2+ years estimating or project management in roofing/construction preferred.
• Strong math, budgeting, and cost-analysis abilities.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial roofing projects from bid award through completion.
• Analyze plans and project documents to develop accurate estimates.
• Prepare labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Source and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors.
• Solicit and evaluate bids for competitive pricing and profitability.
• Develop and submit project proposals and bids.
• Track project costs and compare estimated vs actual expenditures.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and partners.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in public and private sectors.
• Conduct site visits, job walks, and inspections as needed.
• Ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
• Enforce safety, quality, and production standards.

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Project Estimator / Project Manager on behalf of a growing commercial roofing company in the Denver Metro area. This individual will be responsible for estimating, bidding, and managing roofing projects from pre-construction through completion while developing strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial roofing projects from bid award through project completion.
• Analyze plans, specifications, blueprints, and project documents to develop accurate estimates.
• Prepare labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Solicit and evaluate bids to ensure competitive pricing and project profitability.
• Develop and submit project proposals and bids.
• Track project costs and measure estimated versus actual expenditures.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and industry partners.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both public and private sectors.
• Conduct site visits, job walks, and inspections as needed.
• Ensure projects are completed within budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
• Enforce project safety, quality, and production standards.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of estimating, project management, and commercial construction processes.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 2+ years of estimating or project management experience within roofing, construction, building envelope, or a related industry.
• Business development, client-facing, or sales experience is highly preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Target compensation: $105,000 - $120,000 annually
