Senior Business Consultant - The Built Environment at Irving Knight Group

Salary: $80,000 to $130,000 (DOE - flexible) + bonus + additional benefits

I am working with an award winning general contractor looking to add an experienced Estimator to their team to meet their aggressive growth plans!

The role:

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scope of work to prepare accurate cost estimates
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating processes
• Manage multiple projects concurrently
• Conduct site visits to assess material, labor, and time requirements.
• Prepare detailed bid proposals and present cost estimates to clients
• Review and interpret contracts and agreements to ensure alignment with estimates.
• Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle to identify potential discrepancies or variances.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in commercial estimation and preconstruction management
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Proficient in estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Microsoft Excel, or equivalent)
