Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, seeks an Estimator at the Lebanon, TN plant to manage multiple project bids and support the sales team with accurate costing.

You will collaborate with engineering, vendors, and production to ensure designs meet specifications, prepare proposals, and help schedule projects from kickoff through turnover. This role offers an inclusive culture with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Estimating and project management experience preferred in construction or precast.
• Ability to manage several bids/projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to understand engineered drawings and blueprints.
• Associates Degree / Civil Engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Estimate multiple projects concurrently and prepare proposals for sales staff.
• Contact vendors for pricing and review quotes against designs.
• Review sales proposals with staff to ensure requirements and timelines.
• Lead turnover meetings to confirm scope, values, and paperwork.
• Assist with Change Order Proposals as requested.
• Monitor project progress and troubleshoot to avoid delays.
• Detail drawings in Stack-it and Salesforce CPQ.
• Assist with inside sales, production reporting, and invoicing.
