Job Description:

As an Estimator - JOC, reporting to the Lead Estimator / VP JOC Operations, you will:

• Provide and coordinate estimating services on complex projects and contracts
• Review specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope and estimate contents
• Contribute to conceptual and final estimates for large projects
• Support discipline estimate preparation for bids
• Maintain backup documentation for estimates
• Assist in inquiry preparation and bid evaluation
• Track awarded contracts, including pricing change orders and procuring materials
• Perform additional tasks as directed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, with 5+ years of relevant estimating experience. Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with NYC Metro construction projects and public agencies is required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
• Experience with Job Order Contracting (JOC) or Unit Price projects in NYC public sector.
• Experience with small local/regional contractors focusing on renovations or tenant improvements.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with estimating software.
• Excellent communication skills.
