Frontier-Kemper Constructors, Inc. in Evansville, Indiana is seeking an Estimator I to join our home office. You will support bid processes and prepare labor, material, and equipment estimates for heavy civil projects.

Requirements: bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management; 2+ years in heavy civil/mining; proficiency in MS Office, HCSS, and Primavera P6. Willingness to travel for site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management required.
• 2+ years of heavy civil, mining, construction, or related experience.
• Experience with bid processes, estimating, scheduling, and technical writing.
• Proficiency in MS Office, civil estimating software (preferably HCSS), and Primavera P6.
• Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read contracts, specifications, and drawings.
• Willingness to travel and visit sites (mines and tunnels) as needed.

Responsabilités

• Assist with organizing and managing the bid process with the Estimating Manager.
• Review bid documents to develop labor, materials, and equipment costs.
• Travel to pre-bid meetings and site visits, building client and consultant relationships.
• Support with technical proposals, post-bid work plans, procurement, and cost control.
• Participate in production tracking and post-job analysis.
