Responsibilities

• Read notes and specifications to confirm proper paperwork is created.
• Provide support to team members to complete tasks on time.
• Create and maintain cordial relationships with superiors, co-workers, builders and inspectors.
• Visit construction sites to observe methods and gain estimating insights.
• Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Review all estimates with Group Leader or Project Manager for accuracy before quotation.
• Utilize standard formats for completing estimates.
• Maintain all working documents and data backing estimate figures.
• File vendor and subcontractor quotes in the job folder.
• Track estimates for status and maintain a bid sheet.
• Attend departmental meetings and maintain regular in-person attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

A1 Mechanical is currently looking for a Sales/ Estimating Team Member. This position is an entry level position where the correct candidate can learn vital parts of the Sales/ Estimating process, and create career growth potential. We provide HVAC Repair, Replacement and Installation services in both the residential and commercial environments. The qualified candidate will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success. This is for a full-time position working with our residential new construction sales and estimating

Primary Function: Preparation of bids, estimates and budget on residential new construction and multi-family construction projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review construction documents and understands scope of work to bid
• Read and understand salesmen notes and specifications to confirm proper paper work is created.
• Provide necessary support to other team members to be able to complete tasks on time.
• Create and maintain cordial and collaborative working relationships with superiors, co - workers, builders and inspectors.
• Visit construction sites and observe methods of construction to gain additional insight that will assist in accurately estimating jobs
• Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, etc.
• Review all estimates with Group Leader or Project Manager to ensure accuracy and completeness, prior to formal quotation
• Utilize standard formats for completing the estimates
• Ensure all working documents and data are maintained to backup estimate figures
• File all incoming vendor quotes and subcontractor quotes in the job folder
• Track estimates for status
• Maintain a bid sheet with all pertinent information
• Attends departmental meetings as required
• Regular in-person attendance
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

Position is contingent on satisfactory results of background check, drug screen, physical, and motor vehicle record.
