The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, primarily in the multifamily and commercial sectors, including hospitals and hotels. This position plays a crucial role in the bidding process and project planning, ensuring projects are financially viable and completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates for multifamily and commercial construction projects.
• Review project plans and specifications to understand scope and requirements.
• Conduct take-offs to calculate material and labor costs.
• Prepare and submit bids for projects, ensuring competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to refine estimates and address any project changes.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing and procurement.
• Analyze past projects to improve future estimating processes and accuracy.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of multifamily and commercial construction estimating practices.
• Familiarity with estimating software and take-off tools.
• Experience working on hospital and hotel projects is a plus.
