Qualifications

• 2–6 years estimating or preconstruction with a GC.
• Experience with multifamily modular/conventional construction.
• Proficient in Excel and take-off software (OST/Bluebeam).
• Strong attention to detail, organized, deadline-driven.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred.

The Estimator supports the preparation of accurate estimates and budgets for multifamily projects delivered through both modular and conventional construction methods. This role focuses on quantity take-offs, scope review, subcontractor coordination, and cost analysis, partnering closely with the estimating and preconstruction teams to support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs for modular, off-site, and site-built scopes
• Assist with conceptual and detailed estimates for multifamily projects
• Review drawings and specifications for scope gaps, coordination issues, and cost impacts
• Support subcontractor outreach, bid collection, bid leveling, and scope comparisons
• Maintain unit pricing, cost history, and productivity data
• Assist with value engineering and alternative construction methods
• Prepare estimate summaries and scope narratives

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of estimating or preconstruction experience with a GC
• Experience with multifamily modular and/or conventional construction
• Proficiency in Excel and estimating/take-off software (OST, Bluebeam, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and deadline management
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred

California Pay Transparency: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $110,000 – $150,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and location. This role may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
