Capstone Mechanical seeks an Estimator to analyze blueprints, specifications, and documents to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for HVAC projects in Texas. This role supports pre-construction efforts and ensures pricing data remains current.
Responsibilities include preparing ductwork and piping takeoffs using QuickPen, computing cost factors, and assisting bids with project managers. Strong MS Office and communication skills are essential.
The Estimator reports to the Pre-Construction & HVAC Manager. As the estimator he/she analyzes blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, and/or services. The estimator ensures that Capstone’s computer system operates consistently and effectively with most recent software updates and that our pricing database is kept current.
