Job DescriptionTime Type:Full timeRole Details:Time Type: Full TimeStarting Pay: $21.63 / HRJob Location: 1350 IH 35 N, San Marcos, TX 78667SUMMARYCreates material lists and takeoffs from blueprints sent from local store location and regionally assigned locationsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Reads and interprets blueprints of prospective and current customers of McCoy’s, for both residential and commercial projects. Generates materials lists for individual projects based on standard, local building codes and submits materials lists to the store(s) in a timely mannerEnsures quality customer service through personal and/or phone interaction with retail store employees. May assist retail store employees with product information and answering questions as necessary, including product usage and application, and/or blueprint changes or editsMay consult customers concerning questions or concerns on blueprints and materials listsFollows Standard Operating Procedures while carrying out the responsibilities of the positionAttends and participates in store or regional meetings, continuing education, and/or company/department training sessions as requiredSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has no supervisory responsibilitiesQUALIFICATIONSAssociate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizationAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Must be able to perform and comprehend basic business and financial calculationsAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
