We’re looking for an Estimator who knows that great construction starts long before the first shovel hits the ground. If you have a sharp eye for details, a strong understanding of construction costs, and the ability to turn plans, specifications, and opportunities into accurate, competitive estimates, this could be your next big move.

This is a hands‑on estimating opportunity for a construction professional who enjoys the challenge of putting the pieces together. You’ll work closely with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and leadership to develop estimates that are accurate, strategic, and competitive. From reviewing drawings and specifications to soliciting bids and identifying potential risks, you’ll have a direct impact on the projects the company pursues and ultimately wins.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Prepare detailed estimates, budgets, bids, and proposals for construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and contract documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and accurately determine labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor and vendor proposals.
• Develop competitive pricing while identifying project risks, exclusions, and potential cost savings.
• Work with project management and operations teams to ensure estimates align with construction strategy and execution.
• Participate in preconstruction meetings, bid reviews, scope reviews, and project turnover.
• Maintain organized estimating documentation and accurate cost information.
• Research market conditions, material pricing, labor costs, and subcontractor availability.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, and scope gaps before they become expensive surprises.
• Help develop value‑engineering opportunities and alternative solutions.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Support multiple estimates and deadlines while keeping quality and accuracy front and center.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Construction estimating experience with a strong understanding of commercial construction.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP plans and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, materials, and sequencing.
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
• Ability to communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, clients, project managers, and leadership.
• Confidence working independently while also being a collaborative team player.
• Proficiency with estimating software, Microsoft Office, and construction technology.
• Ability to manage multiple bids, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to spot opportunities before they become problems.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Up to $130,000 , depending on experience and qualifications.
