CRH's Preferred Materials - Asphalt Division in Florida is seeking an Estimator to convert project details into precise cost estimates, collaborating with field teams to keep projects on budget and on schedule.

You will analyze specifications, maintain current pricing, and prepare competitive bids while upholding safety and company standards. This role rewards accuracy, initiative, and clear communication within a large, international organization.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of construction estimating experience is required.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts with precision.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

About The Role

As an Estimator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring projects stay on budget and on track. What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience

• 5–10 years of construction estimating experience required.

Skills & Expertise

• Proficiency with estimating and bidding software (HCSS preferred).
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts with precision.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
• Professional ethics, tact, and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
