Novax Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting an Estimator for Structural and Miscellaneous Steel in New York, NY. The role focuses on reviewing drawings, performing take‑offs, pricing, and vendor negotiations to secure awarded work. You will contribute to bids and cost breakdowns within a busy, high‑demand urban market.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of steel estimating experience, strong software skills, and established NYC contractor relationships. Hybrid work is available with one day onsite weekly.

Competenze

• 5+ years estimating experience in structural/miscellaneous steel.
• Strong Bluebeam and Excel capability.
• Existing relationships with major NYC contractors (Turner, Tishman, Skanska, etc.).
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyse drawings.
• Proven ability to bring in $2-3M of awarded work annually.
• Strong communication skills — this team values clarity and professionalism.

Mansioni

They operate from a large fabrication facility supported by a 100‑person team and a strong, diversified backlog. With senior retirements approaching and continued commercial growth, they're creating space for the next generation of leaders to step forward.

The Role
