Job description

Laser North, a professional sheet metal and structural fabrication company, seeks an Estimator to join their team in Baraga, Michigan. All levels of experience being considered and are encouraged to apply. We are willing to train someone who is motivated to build a career in the manufacturing industry.

At its core, this is a technical sales role. The Estimator exists to drive sustained business growth by turning opportunities into revenue-quoting quickly, pricing accurately, and following through until the work is won. We're looking for someone who knows how to put together solid estimates and quotes that not only make sense, but win jobs and protect our margins. Just as important, we want someone who will stay with a job after the quote goes out: keeping the customer informed, moving the project forward, and working closely with our Master Scheduler/Contract Coordinator to make sure what we promised is what gets built and shipped.

If you're great with numbers, enjoy working with people, and like seeing your work drive results, this could be a great fit.

WHAT WE OFFER.
  • Annual salary of $65,000 or more to be based on your knowledge and experience.
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance.
  • Discretionary, performance-based bonuses.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Paid time off.
