Job Description

The Estimator’s primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs, and communicating with customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses vehicle damage and documents repairs and parts needed on the damage appraisal. The Estimator contributes to the repair facility’s KPIs by aligning with team members to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Document and update every customer interaction with pertinent details
  • Provide customers with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and delivering excellent service
  • Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics
  • Adhere to WOW Operating Way guidelines regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery
  • Communicate customer requests and needs to appropriate team members
  • Maintain positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone
  • Understand required insurance programs and procedures
  • Participate in daily production walks with the Management Team, as required
  • Support all team members as needed
  • Participate in monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings (if required)
  • Attend training, information sessions, and workshops recommended by the Store Manager
  • Maintain store KPIs by maximizing role performance
