Job summary

Roto-Rooter in Linthicum, MD, near Baltimore, is seeking a Restoration Estimating Specialist to join our Northeast Regional team at the Baltimore Call Center. This full-time role focuses on Xactimate-based estimates for water restoration with opportunities for bonus based on performance.

The estimator will work with customers and insurance adjusters to submit claims and manage billing procedures. Experience with insurance claims and strong communication are required; bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

Roto-Rooter is seeking an experienced estimator with insurance claims experience to join our fast-growing water restoration team for our Northeast Regional team. This is a full-time position based out of our Baltimore Call Center located in Linthicum, MD. The hourly range for this position is 23.00-$25.00, depending on experience and you will also have the opportunity for a performance-based bonus.

Responsibilities

• Use Xactimate estimating software to write detailed water restoration estimates for residential and commercial customers.
• Maintain communication with customers and insurance adjusters.
• Submit estimates to insurance companies for payment.
• Follow established billing and collections procedures.

Requirements

• Xactimate software and estimate writing experience is preferred.
• Insurance claims experience is required.
• Administrative billing & collections experience in the restoration or service industry is preferred.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bilingual preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Driver’s License.
